FLOWERS IN FILM with Amanda Willgrave

March 21^st Zoom 10:00 – 11:30

Amanda is one of the leading film florists with over 15 years experience and will be joining us to talk about her work on recent productions including Wuthering Heights, Hamnet, Frankenstein and Andor. 

We will be looking at:

• how Amanda approaches each script and prepares her research

• script breakdowns and budgets for the floral team

• how the Floral, Props and Set Decorating teams collaborate

• what can be done to create and maintain positive working environments 

Cost: £35+vat (TP Members discount available)  Industry Sessions are eligible for ScreenSkills bursaries – there is no guarantee of a successful application and the process takes at least 4 weeks to confirm.

Delivery: The session runs from 10:00 – 11:30.

We leave the room open after the session to continue networking and catching up with colleagues. 

We ask that cameras are kept on for the duration of the session.

We do not record or transcribe our Sessions as we are sharing sensitive materials and encouraging participants to share experiences in a safe space. We therefore ask that participants do not record or screengrab any materials. 

Suitable for: The Talking Point Industry Sessions are open to all but aimed at those already working in the industry. If you are new to working in film and HETV drama, you are welcome to attend but please note that we will not be discussing career pathways.
