ABOUT

Seamus McGarvey is one of the world’s leading Directors of Photography with a wide range of  credits across both independent and studio productions.

His career has included longterm collaborations with Lynne Ramsay (Die My Love and We Need to Talk About Kevin) Joe Wright (M – Son of the Century, Cyrano, Atonement and Anna Karenina) Joss Wheedon (Avengers Assemble and The Nevers) and Sam Taylor Johnson (Nowhere Boy and 50 Shades of Grey).

We will hear how he considers colour, lighting and composition in storytelling, how he collaborates with other Heads of Department and the relationship between design and cinematography .

Anyone working in film and TV production, from trainee to Head of Department.
