If you are considering a career in the Art Department, Set Decorating for Props on feature films and High End TV dramas but not sure where to start, this is the course for you!
We look at the different teams and job roles in each, who collaborates with who, CVs and portfolios, how to network and who with to get onto a productions and how to do well to get asked back.
Small, friendly groups so lots of opportunities to ask all your questions and meet people at a similar stage to you.

Throughout this Zoom workshop we will be looking at:
the different teams working in the Art Department
role and responsibilities of the different jobs
how to collaborate effectively with different teams
how to succeed as an assistant
CVs and portfolios
who to reach out to for work and how
where to access ongoing support and networking

This workshop is delivered for up to 16 people on Zoom.
It runs from 10:00 - 12:30 with networking time at the end to carry on the conversations and meet new people.
This session costs £50 +vat. It is eligible for ScreenSkills bursary - the application process takes up to 4 weeks and we require payment ahead of the session.
Please note that we ask for cameras to be kept on for the duration of the session. We do not transcribe or record sessions and ask that participants do not do so either. We are sharing sensitive materials and creating a safe space for people to ask questions and share experiences.
We actively encourage questions and making the most of an opportunity to learn more about the teams and what they do.
