Are you looking to work in the Set Decorating team on features and HETV dramas? Or would you like to know more about it before you decide where you are best suited?

This Introduction to Set Decorating session will help answer your questions. We will be looking at:

o what the set decorating team does

o how it is structured – the different jobs, who does what and when

o what skills and knowledge you need to have to succeed

o what to include in your cv and portfolio

o who to contact, and when, to get onto productions

o what to expect – and what will be expected of you

o how to be a successful freelancer and get onto productions – and importantly, get asked back!

SUITABLE FOR

This session is for those with little or no industry experience, or those looking to transfer into Set Decorating from another department.

It is an informal, friendly workshop on zoom with lots of opportunities to ask questions and network with people at the same stage of their careers.
