Spring is finally here and the longer days are very welcome. We hope work is feeling more positive for you and there are interesting opportunities on the horizon. MENTORING NETWORK

We are almost at the end of our 23rd round of the Talking Point Mentoring Network. We have really enjoyed working with this group who are looking to work in a range of Art Dept roles – they have been learning how the industry and Art Department teams work, how to be a successful freelancer, where their skills gaps are and how to reach people for work. HOW TO READ A TECHNICAL DRAWING with Senior Art Director Rod McLean Saturday 17th May Brighton

Senior Art Director Rod McLean will lead this session on how to read a technical drawing, a key element for working in all the Art Department, Props, Construction and Set Decorating teams – you may not have to create the drawings, but knowing what to look for and finding the relevant information is an important part of the job.
