PRODUCTION BUYING

This Session focused on the elements required to be an effective and successful Production Buyer on feature films and High End TV dramas.

We were joined by Corina Burrough, Production Buyer (Cruella, Star Wars – the Rise of Skywalker, Mary Queen of Scots) who discussed her experiences of Production Buying on studio films and tv dramas. We examined the roles, responsibilities of a Production Buyer, required skills, knowledge and entry routes for Production Buyers, moving up into the grade, the paperwork and buying etiquette and working across different budget ranges.
